This role will be responsible for leading assessments on the physical and transitional climate change risks and opportunities for Snowy Hydro across its generation and retail arms (Red Energy, Lumo Energy and our commercial and industrial retailer, Snowy Energy).
This role demands a proactive, ‘can do' approach with excellent project management, presentation, and collaboration skills to champion and drive success.
In addition to the above, this role will include:
-
Leading the development of the organisation's climate change understanding, ensuring the maturity of the understanding and disclosure of our physical and transitional climate change risks and opportunities.

Developing and implementing the climate strategy project plan and enduring processes
-
Guiding the organisation on how to achieve ongoing maturity to meet external stakeholder expectations and senior leader understanding of the risks.
-
Managing the development of qualitative and quantitative assessments of climate-related risks and opportunities.
-

To be successful in this role, you will have:
-
Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
-
Experience with or detailed knowledge of climate change assessments, methodologies and frameworks
-
Strong project management skills and previous experience in successfully delivering projects in large complex environments
-
Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision making at all levels
-
A depth of experience developing presentations and report writing
-
The ability to build strong and credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Benefits of joining us:

To join one of Australia's most iconic renewable energy organisations, working with best in class professionals across a number of business units
-
Access to Snowy Hydro's benefits including health and wellbeing support
-
Discounted electricity and gas as a Red Energy customer
