The Role
As the Project Risk Manager reporting to the General Manager of Project Excellence, my role will involve spearheading Project Risk Management activities and ensuring robust Risk Governance throughout the Snowy 2.0 program. I will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to facilitate the identification and management of program risks, as well as manage and coordinate various risk oversight forums associated with Snowy 2.0.
Responsibilities include:

Implementing a tailored risk management approach for Snowy 2.0, focusing on identifying, analysing, and addressing key project risks, while supporting risk treatment plans aligned with the Company's risk appetite.

Collaborating with Project Directors and teams to strengthen controls, provide assurance to executives and the Board, and foster a positive risk culture through training initiatives.

Preparing tailored risk reports for project teams, directors, executive committees, shareholders, and other key stakeholders.

Supporting governance, risk, and compliance efforts by ensuring project risks are integrated across the business, assisting with enterprise risk management, audits, and providing guidance for smaller projects.

Leading, coaching, and developing team members to achieve goals, solve problems, and improve work practices, while applying Snowy's values, policies, and performance processes.

Fostering positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using flexible leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain effective working partnerships.
You'll Bring To The Team:
You'll bring to the team a relevant Bachelor's degree and experience in developing or delivering governance, risk, and compliance frameworks within listed companies or large, complex organisations. Your strong business engagement skills will enable you to effectively communicate project risk matters to a diverse audience, both verbally and in writing. Experience in the construction sector or GRC in major infrastructure projects would be highly desirable.
