Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, driven and energetic Plant Manager in the Western Melbourne region. This role will be responsible for managing the Laverton North operational assets including all maintenance and related activities, supervising site operations and the local Production team in order to meet the operational, maintenance and trading requirements of Snowy Hydro.
In this role you will share knowledge as required and develop a knowledge sharing team culture to ensure the demonstration of cultural values and behaviours is consistently achieved. You will also manage the improvements to safety, environmental, quality, asset availability and reliability, cost and contractor's performance.
We're looking for someone who:

Has demonstrable Management experience (5-10 years) and a trade background. It would be desirable to have engineering qualifications, however it is not essential

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of gas and diesel assets and access requirements for these assets

Adheres to Snowy Hydro's values and demonstrates integrity
