Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. 

Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technology Program Manager to join our Asset Management and Technology team based in Sydney. As a Technology Program Manager will be accountable for managing multiple concurrent, complex programs of work within the organisation. In addition, you will support the Manager of Projects in the day to day management of the project management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of project development across a portfolio of complex projects, including preparing business cases and project management plans

• Develop detailed program and project schedules, detailing major milestones, critical paths and project risks

• Manage the consolidation of reporting for senior management and executives and other relevant stakeholders including key milestone summaries, key issues, risks, benefits, budget

• Build, facilitate and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to support and enable service and project delivery

• Coach, mentor and lead the project management team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated and appropriate performance measures are established

• Provide expertise to the teams with specific input to change and risk management plans and information management

• Commitment to adopt and promote Snowy Hydro's culture, values and safety focus

• 10+ years technology and business project manager experience across a variety of project areas, including; COTS system deployments and in-house software development

• Ability to manage a diverse team across multiple company locations

• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and skill sets

• Project Management qualifications eg. Prince 2, Agile, Change Management 

• Proven ability to negotiate with, manage and supervise vendors' external contractors and consultants

• The ability to work with autonomy and responsibility

• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines, managing various tasks at once, demonstrating resilience to work in a constantly changing environment
