An opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join our high performing Asset Management and Technology team and be responsible for the Maintenance Strategy Overhaul. The primary focus of this role is to plan and deliver the Maintenance Strategy Overhaul Project in accordance with approved business case, to be able to maximize the value we derive from our assets and contribute to the improvement of operations.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Project Sponsor and other relevant stakeholders to agree on the scope, methodology and objectives;
Developing a project delivery strategy;
Monitoring and controlling the delivery of the project in accordance with the agreed project plans, cost and timelines;
Consulting with the Procurement team to prepare invitations to tender, evaluate offers received from suppliers, negotiate details of proposed contracts and recommend execution of contracts;
Monitoring and re-assessing project risks and ensuring risk control measures are in place;
Develop and implement an effective change management strategy for the project scope and across the business.
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
Experience in delivering a process related change initiative that required extensive stakeholder management and application of an effective change management strategy;
Project management skills with the ability to drive projects from planning to finalisation;
Strong negotiation skills - to be able to negotiate with, manage and supervise external contractors and consultants;
Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels;
Proven change and stakeholder management experience;
Sound knowledge of Quality, OH&S, and Environmental policies, procedures and standards;
Previous experience in Maintenance in a similar industry;
Engineering degree or similar qualification.
