We are looking for a school leaver to join our team as a stores and warehousing trainee, based out of Talbingo, NSW.  This traineeship will see you supporting the supply chains operations and assisting the stores team with a range of administration tasks such as purchasing, stock control, distribution, storage and disposal.

A traineeship with Snowy Hydro is a unique opportunity to complete a nationally accredited tertiary qualification whilst gaining real world, on-the-job experience.

To be a Snowy Hydro trainee, you will be someone who is finishing year 12 in 2024, and

• has a strong desire to learn and a curiosity about how business works,

• is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning and studying,

• can ‘think outside the box', help the team problem-solve and bring new ideas to the business, 

• is a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and enjoys being part of a team,

• has a keen eye for detail, good time management skills and the ability to handle different tasks,

• Hold a ‘C' class drivers licence (Provisional licence as a minimum is a must)

• is proactive, punctual and reliable, and

• shares the Snowy Hydro values of safety, teamwork, agility, decency, ownership and courage.

As a trainee, you will

• be employed on a full-time 24-month contract and be paid to learn and expand your knowledge and experience (adding valuable skills and experience to your CV).

• Upon successful completion of your course, have gained an accredited Certificate III  in Supply Chain Operations.  

• be working with experts in their field, who will teach, mentor and support you through every step of your traineeship.

• build a supportive peer network with all levels within the business to share your ideas and experiences.
